Pennsylvania System of School Assessment will be administered April 20 -May 1 according to a March 2026 letter on the school district’s website.

English, Language Arts testing for students in grades third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth will take place April 20-24.

Mathematics testing for students in grades third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth will be held April 27 through May 1.

Science testing for students in grades fifth and eighth will take place April 27 through May 1.

Northwestern Elementary

The school will be celebrating National Library Week April 19-25.

There will be a Partner in Education meeting at 2:30 p.m. May 1.

The NWE Scholarship Committee is sponsoring a summer bus trip to New York City on July 11.

The bus will depart NWE parking lot at approximately 7:30 a.m. and depart Bryant Park in NYC at 7:30 p.m.

There is a cost per person.

Weisenberg Elementary

The Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports Glow Party will take place on April 17.

There will be a character trait assembly for students at 9:30 a.m. May 1.
