William A. Rottmund, 92, formerly of Central Islip, N.Y. and Macungie, died April 5, 2026. He was the husband of the late Mary (Purtell) Rottmund. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a son of the late Adolph and Eleanor (Williams) Rottmund.

He was of the Catholic faith and he received his 4th Degree in the Knights of Columbus at the Bishop McDonald Council #2324 in Babylon, N.Y. He also received a major degree with the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He was a proud member of the Celtic Pipe Band and of Teamsters Local 584.

His survivors include children, William Jr. and Christine, Ethel (Cindy) and Charles Lundberg, Raymond and Maura, Elaine and Steven Puglisi; former wife, Ethel Brady Conley; stepchildren, Eileen and the late Brad Thomas, Kevin Downey, Michael and Maria Elena Downey; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. April 16 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 7-8:30 p.m. April 15 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.BKRFH.com.
