Gerardo A. De La Iglesia, 75, of Macungie, died March 29, 2026, in Lehigh Valley Hospital — Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Carmenza (Ramirez) De La Iglesia. Born in Monte Video, Uruguay, he was the son of the late Fermin and Julia O. (Torrente).

He owned and operated Poultry Time, Inc. Deli in New Rochelle, N.Y. for many years.

He was a faithful member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Uzzie and his wife, Lynn (Martens); daughter, Zullie and her fiancée, Michael Johnson; granddaughter, Sophia; step-grandchildren, Chris and his wife, Mariah and their two children, Michael Brennan and his son; great-niece, Gigi; nephew, Chad and niece-in-law, Lucy; 12 brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.

He was predeceased by his brother, Enrique; nephew, Christian.
