Fullerton: Family night set for April 17

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., will be holding a family fun night 6-8 p.m. April 17. Families with youth in preschool through fifth grade are invited to join for supper, crafts, games, cooking activities and friendship.

Fullerton American Legion Post 367, 609 Fullerton Ave., will hold a large indoor yard sale and craft fair, planned for 8 a.m.-3 p.m. April 18 in the upstairs banquet hall. Come browse a large selection of crafts and yard sale items.

St. John’s invites all to join in a fellowship hour after worship April 19. Enjoy good food, good conversation and connection.

Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will be holding bingo 1 p.m. April 26. Doors open noon.

Bingo will continue with tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle, piggy number, lightning game, etc. There will be refreshments available for purchase.

Bring a donation of a nonperishable food item, pet food or paper product (facial tissues, paper towels or toilet paper) for Whitehall Food Pantry and receive a strip of specials to be played on the first four specials.

Reserving seats is not necessary, but phone or text 610-533-1357 if you wish to do so.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., is hosting a cash bingo April 26. Doors open 11:30 p.m., and bingo starts 12:30 p.m. in the parish hall.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase. There will be raffle baskets and a 50/50 drawing.

The event is presented by Lehigh Valley PA 201, Blue Star Mothers of America.

St. John’s would like to know if you have a favorite hymn you’ve been longing to sing. You will have an opportunity between now and May 3 to let them know. They will take hymn requests and try to fit most, if not all of them, into a hymn-sing for all.

For the month April, St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will be collecting canned corn, canned sweet potatoes, instant mashed potatoes and coffee for the Whitehall Food Pantry. Any other nonperishable food items, as well as monetary contributions, are always welcome.

A shopping cart can be found in the coatroom area by the sanctuary to place your donations.
