Allen/East Allen townships: Historic presentation April 18
Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, will host historical expert presentations every third Saturday April through September when the site is open for monthly tours. “Early Guns of the Lehigh Valley,” a presentation by historical gun expert Philip Majerich, will be held 1-3 p.m. April 18.

The Allen Township dog park, 673 Savage Road, has officially reopened. The park is open from sunrise to sunset.

Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, will be holding a breakfast 8-11 a.m. April 19. There is a cost.

St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 8142 Valley View Road, Seemsville, is planning to hold an April 19 cash bingo. Doors will open 11:30 a.m., and bingo starts 1 p.m.
There is a cost, which includes a brown bag lunch.

East Allen residents are encouraged to help celebrate Earth Day by taking part in community planting days, scheduled for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 22 and 25 at Habitat Park, within Bicentennial Park.
Residents of all ages are welcome to help. Gloves and tools will be provided.

Zion’s Stone United Church of Christ, 51 Church Road, Kreidersville, is holding a gift card bingo April 24. Doors open 5 p.m., and bingo starts 6:30 p.m.
There will be a basket social, 50/50 raffle and food and drinks for purchase.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville, will be holding a drive-thru chicken dinner 4-6 p.m. April 25. The dinner consists of half of a roasted chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, dinner roll and choice of dessert, including white, chocolate or molasses cake or brownies.

Governor Wolf Historical Society is hosting its annual meeting and dinner 6-8:30 p.m. May 1.
The speaker will be Scott Paul Gordon, the Andrew W. Mellon chair at Lehigh University; he teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in early America and 18th-century transatlantic literature. Gordon will speak on the role of the Moravians in the Revolution.
