Simple assault
A 53-year-old male, of Salisbury Township, was charged Feb. 11 with alleged simple assault and harassment after a disturbance at a residence in the 1100 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, according to Salisbury police.
DUI
A 34-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested Feb. 15 for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the area of East Susquehanna Street and Tweed Avenue for failing to drive within his lane of travel, according to Salisbury police.
Retail theft
A 47-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged Feb. 9 with misdemeanor retail theft after allegedly attempting to leave Giant, 3300 Lehigh St., South Mall, with a shopping cart containing approximately $150 worth of goods, according to Salisbury police.
Simple possession
A student at Salisbury High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., was charged Feb. 10 with simple possession after allegedly having a vape device containing tetrahydrocannabinol, according to Salisbury police.
A 45-year-old female, of Parryville, Carbon County, was charged Feb. 11 with simple possession and having drug paraphernalia at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., after allegedly having a glass pipe, a small bag which contained a substance believed to be marijuana and a small bag of a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, according to Salisbury police.
Warrant arrests
A 62-year-old male, of Salisbury Township, was taken into custody Feb. 9 in the 1600 block of East Susquehanna Street on an open arrest warrant from Pennsylvania State Police, according to Salisbury police.
A 51-year-old female, whose address is unknown, was taken into custody Feb. 14 in the 1600 block of Riverside Drive on an open arrest warrant from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office, according to Salisbury police.
Harassment
A 30-year-old female, of Allentown, was charged with harassment after she allegedly harassed a Salisbury Township resident in the 400 block of Lynnwood Street Feb. 15, according to Salisbury police.
Theft
An item described as “of significant value” was removed from a mailbox in the 1100 block of Meadowbrook Circle West, according to Salisbury police. The theft was reported Feb. 13.
Fraud
Someone swindled a resident of the 3000 block of Cedar Lane out of $350 Feb. 9, according to Salisbury police. The swindler posed as someone the Salisbury Township resident knew, according to authorities.
A resident of the 1600 block of Victoria Circle learned of multiple fraudulent transactions, totaling $1,458.97, made on her credit card, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Feb. 14.
Mutual aid assistance
Salisbury police officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police with a motor vehicle fire on Interstate 78 between Summit Lawn and Cedar Crest Boulevard Feb. 10, according to Salisbury police.
Salisbury police officers were called to Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Feb. 13 to assist hospital security with an individual having a mental health issue in a parking lot there, according to Salisbury police.
Unwanted person
On Feb. 9 Salisbury officers responded to the 400 block of Federal Street to help remove two people from a residence, according to Salisbury police.
On Feb. 15 Salisbury officers responded to Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., to assist with having someone leave the hospital without incident, according to Salisbury police.
Disturbances
On Feb. 8 Salisbury officers responded to the 200 block of East Emmaus Avenue for a disturbance between two neighbors over parking, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
On Feb. 8 Salisbury officers responded to the 1600 block of Bobalew Trail for a disturbance, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
On Feb. 8 Salisbury officers responded to the 3500 block of Regent Court for a disturbance, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
On Feb. 9 Salisbury officers responded to the 2300 block of Spring Lane for a disturbance, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
On Feb. 10 Salisbury officers responded to KidsPeace, 1620 Broadway, for a disturbance, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
On Feb. 11 Salisbury officers responded to Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., for a disturbance involving a patient, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
On Feb. 13 Salisbury officers responded to the 900 block of Paoli Street for a disturbance, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
On Feb. 13 Salisbury officers responded to the Lehigh County Detox Center, 1620 Riverside Drive, for a disturbance, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
On Feb. 15 Salisbury officers responded to the 3700 block of Fox Run Drive for a disturbance, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
School bus violations
Between Feb. 8 and Feb. 16, one school bus video violation was approved bringing this school year’s total to 182 approved violations, according to Salisbury police.
