The VFW is planning an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet 9 a.m.-noon March 1. Feast on your choice of scrambled eggs, potatoes, ham, sausage, bacon, biscuits with gravy, St. Patrick’s Day pancakes, peanut butter chocolate chip pancakes, French toast and omelets.

Beverage selections include milk, orange juice, cranberry juice, coffee and tea.

There is a cost, but children ages 4 and under eat for free.

The youth group of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, is holding a nut roll, strudel and sticky bun fundraiser March 1-15, with delivery March 29.

Nut roll flavors available are nut, poppy seed and apricot. Choose apple, blueberry or cherry strudel. Sticky buns come in packs of three or six, with or without nuts.

Midweek Lenten services are held 7 p.m. Wednesdays at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church through March 25.

The Ironton Rail Trail spring historical walk is set for 9 a.m. March 21.

Registration is not required for this 7-mile leisurely paced walk past historical sites and landmarks.

The walk will begin at the Chestnut Street barn. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.
