Gerald Flint Dugal
Gerald Flint Dugal, 65, of Breinigsville, died Jan. 7, 2026. Born in Woodside, N.Y., he was the son of Eleanor and John Dugal.
He spent many years in service to New York City as a principal parks supervisor with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, retiring after a career marked by dedication and pride in preserving the city’s green spaces for the enjoyment of future generations.
He found joy in his many passions, including collecting guitars, reading – especially Tom Clancy novels – and music, which offered him a quiet refuge. He had a lifelong love for dogs and was known for regularly bringing home rescue animals, giving them comfort and a second chance.
He was a devoted family man, a dedicated public servant and a person of deep passions and quiet compassion.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Saha Dugal; children, Vanessa Wilson (Brad), Tanya, Max (Sonia); grandchildren, Jessica Austin, Tyler, Savannah, Henry and Eleanor Wilson, Samantha and Coralyn Buffham, Amelia and Alana; great-grandchildren, Alice and Sophia Austin; brother, Jeffrey (Lisa); sister, Nora Callahan (Michael).
His legacy lives on through the family he loved, the work he dedicated himself to, the animals he rescued and the memories shared by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his strength, his devotion and the deep love he held for his family.
