I have a question that no one seems to be asking about the immigration deportation program, who is going to pick the fruit and vegetables that we just through into our shopping karts without ever thinking about how it got there.
These people work out in 100 degree temps. from sun up to sundown and average around $6.50 an hour (only if they produce), less product less pay! Who is going to work in the poultry houses, working until the product stops. Half to work 14 hour days, in a frozen building walking on a frozen floor,(every day) for $7.50 an hour.
They do! And then we complain about the prices any way, just wait!
Who is going to clean the hotels, short term rentals, time share properties that we all frequent from time to time, who is going to work the theme parks in Florida and all over the country?
Yes, lets get rid of the bad illegals, the felons that slipped through our borders from all areas of the world. the immigrants that have been here five years and have not contributed to the economy,(easy enough to do, check tax returns) then they have to go also. But the immigrants who contribute to as far as being proud to be here, then we need to take a second look, because prices are going to skyrocket everywhere if these establishments are going to survive, and guess who is going to pay for this? You got it!
If all the illegals go away, then labor prices will easily double to pick this product in the fields. The slaughter houses would all have to automate because no one would want to do that at even double the labor rate. Our groceries will become too expensive, yes way more expensive than they are now. Thank you for your time.
