Shirley A. Maurer, 90, of Lititz, formerly of New Tripoli, died peacefully Jan. 6, 2026, at United Zion Retirement Community in Lititz. She was the wife of the late Anton Maurer. Born in Schuylkill Haven, she was the daughter of the late Rayfield and Ada (Mantz) Dietrich.

She was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School. She later owned and operated a health food shop at the Hometown Market until retiring in 1993. She is survived by her son, Edwin (Joan) Wright, of Nokomis, Fla; daughter, Elaine (Bradley) Woodcraft, of Newmanstown; stepdaughter, Sharon (Edward) Steele, of Lancaster; sister, Linda Doaty, of Birdsboro; 10 loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son, Glen Wright and stepson, Anthony.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Jan. 9 in the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli. Calling hour begins noon until the time of the service. Rev. Alan Reiman will officiate.
