Ruth K. Ensley

of Macungie

Ruth K. (Rabert) Ensley, 86, of Macungie, formerly of Allentown, died Dec. 30, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Walter N. Ensley. Born in Neffs, she was the daughter of the late Herman H. and Arlene C. (Hoffman) Rabert.

She was employed as a secretary for the former Liberty Bell Federal Credit Union in Allentown for many years before retiring. She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs where she participated with the quilting group and a member of the former Schnecksville Grange No. 8344. She deeply cherished time with family and friends and was an avid crocheter who generously donated her handmade gifts. She found joy in travel, simple country rides and especially her cherished trips to Lancaster – days she always looked forward to – along with camping, ceramics, scrapbooking and Bunco, which brought highlights of joy throughout her years.

She is survived by a son, Ricky E. (Karen), of Schnecksville; daughter, Suzanne L.E. Toto (Joseph), of Macungie; grandchildren, Rev. Rebecca Dobitsch (Christian), Jennifer Kareha (Stephen), Kristin Lynn (Ryan), Nicholas, Alexzander and Victoria Toto; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Jocelyn, Juliette, Atlas, Ranger.

She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy A. Rabert.
