Robert F. Shipe Jr. of North Catasauqua, died Dec. 28, 2025, at his home. He was the husband of Barbara K. (Buss) Shipe for 47 years.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Robert F. Sr. and Helen C. (Shambach) Shipe.
He was a 1970 graduate of Whitehall High School and received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State University in 1975.
He was employed by several engineering firms including American Air Filter, SysTech and then started his own firm, Chapel Environmental.
He was a member of Catty Club.
He is survived by two sons, Robert F. III and Benjamin P. with wife Jordan, all of North Catasauqua; a grandson, Max of North Catasauqua; three siblings, Larry L. and wife Jane L. of Allentown, Linda L. and husband Paul J. Peters of North Catasauqua and Jane L. and husband David R. Laudenslager of Catasauqua; a brother-in-law, Robert J. Buss Jr. of Catasauqua; a sister-in-law, Judy Buss of Bethlehem; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a calling time 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., Jan. 10 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville.
