Ray Mark Hartman, 76, of Coplay, died Jan. 2, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Betsy J. (Roth) Hartman to whom he was married 24 years. Born in Germansville, he was the son of the late Mark J. and Irene M. (Stahley) Hartman.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.
He was employed as a courier at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital for 10 years before retiring in 2015. Before that, he worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. Coke Works Division for 30 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Bryan K. (Danelle), of Orefield; daughter, Jessica N. Rumfield, of Palmerton; stepsons, Karl T. Kozlowski, of Slatington, Robert W. Kozlowski Jr. (Lisa), of Schnecksville; sister, Carol I. Snyder, of Schnecksville; grandchildren, Brielle (Jake), Dalton, Ethan, Mallory, Leah, Jake, Kolton, Brentley Ray; great-grandchildren, Khloe, Jayce, Jimmy, Jonah.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 8, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Michael S. Netznik officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects 10-11 a.m. before the service.
