Ray Mark Hartman, 76, of Coplay, died Jan. 2, 2026, at his residence. He was the husband of Betsy J. (Roth) Hartman for 24 years.

Born in Germansville, he was the son of the late Mark J. and Irene M. (Stahley) Hartman.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.

He was employed as a courier at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital for 10 years before retiring in 2015. Earlier, he worked for Bethlehem Steel Corporation coke works division for 30 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Bryan K. with Danelle of Orefield; a daughter, Jessica N. Rumfield of Palmerton; two stepsons, Karl T. Kozlowski of Slatington and Robert W. Kozlowski Jr. with Lisa of Schnecksville; a sister, Carol I. Snyder of Schnecksville; eight grandchildren, Brielle with Jake, Dalton, Ethan, Mallory, Leah, Jake, Kolton and Brentley Ray; and four great-grandchildren, Khloe, Jayce, Jimmy and Jonah.

There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., Jan. 8 at the funeral home, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.
