Matthew Shawn Woodside, 52, of Orefield, died Dec. 25, 2025.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Barbara (Burk) Hanlon of Northampton and the late Robert B. Woodside.

He was a 1990 graduate of William Allen High School.

He worked as an electrician and was a former member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 375, Allentown. He was a co-owner of Bob’s TV and Healthcare Solutions in Orefield.

He could be found playing a round of golf or playing in one of many adult volleyball leagues.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Drew M. of Walnutport; eight siblings, Brian Miller with Tracey of Allentown, Jane Gilbert with Mike of Center Valley, Karen Teets of Whitehall, Jennifer Castronova with Tony of Alabama, Shelly Tyree of Virginia, Kathy Andonian with Keith of Georgia, Bobby of Florida and Heather with Pat Nelson of Whitehall; many nieces and nephews; and extended family.

Family and friends may pay their respects 4-6 p.m. Jan. 8 at the funeral home, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.
