Jeffrey M. Sterner, 50, of Emmaus, died unexpectedly Dec. 12, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the devoted and loving companion of Coryn Tuttle for many years.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of Phyllis (Pfenning) Sterner and the late Larry Sterner.
He dedicated more than 20 years of service to Redner’s Markets, where he spent the last 15 years as a produce manager. He was well loved by his coworkers and respected for his kindness, work ethic and warm personality.
He enjoyed reading, particularly books on history and military history. A passionate sports fan, he cheered faithfully for the Flyers, Phantoms and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also had a deep appreciation for metal music and enjoyed attending concerts. Known for his gentle spirit and great sense of humor, he was kind to everyone he met and always put family and friends first. He especially enjoyed vacations to Long Beach Island and Rehoboth Beach.
In addition to his mother and companion, he is survived by his daughter, Lucylle J.; son, Adym O.; sisters, Andrea and her husband, Todd Fritz, Kara and her husband, Matt Lubold; brother, Mark; mother-in-law, Jayne and her husband, Dale Santee; sister-in-law, Alyssa Mongilutz and her husband, Jody Mongilutz; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; beloved cats, Micaya and Scout.
Arrangements were handled by Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
Contributions may be made to the funeral home in his memory to help defray expenses.
