Donna A. Torbert, 78, of Emmaus, died peacefully Jan. 3, 2026, in DevonHouse Senior Living. Born in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Julia (Fearing) Koch.

She dedicated many years of her professional life to serving others as a secretary, working for Bethlehem Steel, Salisbury School District, Nations First Bank and the law office of Howard Stevens. She later retired from Lehigh Country Club.

She was a former member of Salem U.C.C. and First Presbyterian Church of Allentown.

She was a member of a bowling league and the Ptarmigan Ski Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly and her fiancée, Steve Walck; son, Michael and his wife, Vanessa; grandchildren, Peyton, McKenna, Sofia, Esteban; sister, Gail and her husband, Michael McGinn; brother, Rick Koch and his companion, Susan.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at DevonHouse Senior Living and Family Pillars Hospice for their kindness, compassion and devoted care during her final days.

A celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 9 in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation is 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home.
