Fullerton: St. John’s UCC plans family movie, ice cream night Dec. 6
St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will be having a family movie and ice cream night 6:30 p.m. Dec. 6 for a fun-filled event. Choose from a big selection of ice cream flavors with all the toppings, eat some popcorn and watch the movie “Wonka.”
A sign-up sheet can be found on the bulletin board at the back of the sanctuary.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., will be having an Advent fair 5 p.m. Dec. 6. A family-friendly worship will be followed by supper, crafts and games.
Parking is between Cherry Alley and Quarry Street with the handicapped entrance off Cherry Alley.

St. John’s Lutheran Church will welcome the Pocono Praise Band 2 p.m. Dec. 7 for a concert of contemporary music. Bring a nonperishable food item for the food pantry.

The men’s breakfast group of St. John’s UCC will next meet 8:30 a.m. Dec. 7 at Hamilton Family Restaurant, 2027 Hamilton St., Allentown.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., will be having its volunteer appreciation dinner 6 p.m. Dec. 14 in the parish hall. All parish and school volunteers and their families are invited to the appreciation dinner.

St. Elizabeth’s announces its youth group will be selling single-bloom poinsettias this year. Options include red, white and marble, all newly grown at Garden City in Catasauqua.
Order forms can be found on the parish website or by calling Mary Spieker at the parish office by Dec. 1.
Flowers can be sent home with a school student or picked up at the parish office 10 a.m.-noon Dec. 12 or 8:30-11:15 a.m. Dec. 14 in the parish hall.
