A Bethlehem man was found dead inside a vehicle on an Emmaus street Oct. 23.

Joseph S. Dixon, 48, was pronounced dead 4:11 p.m. at the scene, according to a press release from the coroner’s office dated Oct. 24.

The vehicle was parked in the 200 block of Ridge Street, according to authorities.

An autopsy was done Oct. 24.

“The cause and manner of death remain pending further investigation and toxicology testing,” according to the press release.

“At this time, there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death,” the press release continued.

Investigating agencies also include the Emmaus Police Department and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s office.
