John E. Arndt, 79, of Emmaus, died Nov. 19, 2025, at the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Percival and Estella (Faustner) Arndt.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Emmaus and was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 1965.

He was a custodian for the Borough of Emmaus for 30 years until his retiring in 2005.

He achieved the level of Eagle Scout and enjoyed racing stock cars at Dorney Park.

He is survived by a brother, Lee and his wife, Nancy; nephew, Troy; great-niece and great-nephew, Jordan and his wife, Joelle and Olivia; great-great-niece, Juliana; other nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Nov. 28 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 10-11 a.m. before the service in the funeral home.
