LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Viking baseball team holding cookie dough fundraiser

As the fall season continues, Allentown Central Catholic High School students have been very busy with activities that bring our community together academically, spiritually and socially.

The week of Nov. 3, our Class of 2026 celebrated its senior week with fun activities and dress down days.

On Nov. 7, the ACCHS Ecology Club joined the Monocacy Creek Watershed Association and its partner, Sierra Club, in a volunteer native tree planting project. Together, students helped plant 139 small native trees across two sites within the Bethlehem area. Way to go Vikes!

On Nov. 9, ACCHS students took part in Powder Puff 2025. Powder Puff is a fun, school spirit event where female students face off in a friendly game of flag football, coached by our very own ACCHS football players. A great way to start the week!

On Nov. 11, we celebrated our veterans during the annual Veterans Day Mass. The school community came together in prayer to thank them for their service and sacrifices. We are very grateful to all who were able to join us.

On Nov. 14, members of our Irish club visited Immaculata University for an educational field trip. Students took part in a presentation from Dr. William Watson, director of the Duffy’s Cut project and exhibit. The remainder of the afternoon, the group listened to a second presentation and participated in Irish Jeopardy led by Irish scholar Dr. Sean Flannery.

The ACCHS Fall Sports Awards and Mass were celebrated Nov. 18 and recognized the dedication and achievements of our fall athletes.

Vikings baseball is holding a cookie dough fundraiser, with orders open through Nov. 24.

ACCHS Viking lacrosse will host its alumni game 2 p.m. Nov. 28 at Scotty Wood Stadium at Muhlenberg College. To RSVP, visit our social media pages.
