Roger D. Hermany, 96, of Macungie, formerly of Allentown, died Oct. 27, 2025, at EverTrue Lutheran Home at Topton, where he had been residing. He was the husband of the late Myrtle M. (Burkhart) Hermany. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Dr. S.L. Hermany and Edna M. (Zimmerman) Hermany.

He was an accountant for 40 years in the Lehigh Valley within the automobile industry.

A 32nd Degree Mason, he was a member of Lehigh Valley Day Lodge #813, F. & A.M., Lehigh Consistory — Valley of Allentown and Jordan United Church of Christ, Allentown.

He was an avid gardener and loved to travel.

He is survived by a son, Donald R., of Wayne.

He was predeceased by a brother, Dr. Paul L.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Nov. 10 at Jordan United Church of Christ, 1837 Church Road, Allentown. Family and friends may pay their respects 10 — 11 a.m. at the church before the service.
