Homecoming dance A night to remember

The Northwestern Lehigh High School homecoming dance is a highly anticipated event that brings students together for a celebration of school spirit and camaraderie.

Held annually, the cherished tradition is a highlight of the fall season.

Students arrived around 6 p.m. on the evening of Sept. 27 dressed to impress in their finest attire.

Working together, the administration, student council, and class advisers carefully planned every detail to create an unforgettable atmosphere and exciting experience for attendees.

The dance is a treasured night of fun that stays with students long after graduation.

Music, laughter, and excitement filled the air as students connected with friends, made memories, and celebrated their unity, school spirit, and Tiger Pride.

From candid moments to choreographed poses, lots of happiness was captured in photos.

A night to remember for the 2025 Homecoming King and Queen, Shane Leh and Kiersten Klein. They were selected through student vote recognizing their dedication to the school community as leaders of the Northwestern Lehigh School District.
District Officer Jim Tews happily greeted his niece Gabriella S. and her date James Robert O. as they arrived at the dance.
Tamaqua student Matthew S. crossed school lines and traded colors for a night of fun with Northwestern scouting friend Julianna R.
M.J. (Michael) B. brought the homecoming court members together to celebrate more than school spirit – a surprise birthday serenade to their amazing Class of 2026 Advisor, Heather Fugazzotto.
Layla S., Jaelyn M., Mary P., Cici E., and Olivia S. arrived surrounded by friends and ready for fun on their way to make unforgettable memories at this year’s homecoming dance.
For Liv B. and Mack H. it was a night of celebration, friendship, school pride, and certainly one to remember.
Karaline S. and Luke S. took a break from dancing to get snacks and refreshments between songs.
Alexa R., Chase S., Griffin U., and Jillian P. (Whitehall) made memories that’ll last a lifetime. The evening was full of good energy, music, and school spirit. More photos on A12.
Before heading to Bear Rock Junction for ice cream, Craig S. and Bella Q (Parkland), smiled for a photo, capturing the joy of the evening.
The homecoming dance will be a memorable one for Parker W. and Rylin S. as Parker flew in from Florida to take her to the dance.
Fun was had by Asher S. and Nova F. at this year’s dance. They took a moment to cool off and get refreshments.
Like many others, Addison S., Sophia B., Suvannah S., Olivia B., and Shaelyn B. went to Bear Rock Junction after the dance. Well-dressed kids in sharp suits and beautiful dresses were seen all over the mini golf courses, enjoying ice cream, riding go karts and on the train.
The DJ kept the dance floor full and the crowd moving all night long. The lights transformed the gym into a fun venue as students danced the night away beneath glowing lights.
It wasn’t all dancing in the gymnasium. When they needed a break from the dance floor, Gavin P. entertained Alex G. and friends with cards.
