In the battle for 1st place, St. Paul’s moved closer Dryland by winning 12-6 and 6-1, losing the nightcap 8-4. Leading the charge for St. Paul’s were Dave Clark and Jennifer Erkinger each going 7-12, the ‘Kern Brothers’ going 7-13 apiece, and Paul Simon hitting a 5 way cycle for the night (B,1B,2B,3B,HR) for the night. Larry Go lick was 8-13, Earl Sigely 6-14 (HR), Dennis Skelton 5-12, Nate Phares 5-13 (HR), and Karen Krome with a HR for Dryland.

Farmersville moved into a tie for 2nd place with St. Paul’s by sweeping Blessed Trinity by scores of 6-0, 3-1, and 3-2. Hitters for Farmersville included Sue Grim 5-11, Gene Grim 4-12 (HR), and Dan Halteman 4-12, while Andy Mickelson was 5-12, Todd Jones and Norm Schoenberger both were 3-11 for Blessed Trinity.

After a 6-3 loss in the opener to Christ UCC, Star of Bethlehem came back to win 2-1 and 6-1. Top hitters for Star of Bethlehem were Breanna Frankenfield 5-10, Ron Frankenfield 5-12, Scott Hoffert 4-11 and Tyler Frankenfield 4-13 (2 HRs). For Christ UCC, A.J. Renn 6-12, Susan Gasper 5-9, and Dennis Laudenslager with a HR.

Ebenezer beat Emmanuel 5-3 and 7-5, losing the opener 3-0. Leading the way for Ebenezer were Joe Kish 6-12, Katie Mclann 3-5, Tori Enright 3-7 (HR), and HRs from John Costanzo and Tim Prestosh. Jon Rice was 6-13, Al Nesbitt 3-10 (HR), and Tracy Dormedia with a HR for Emmanuel.
