At the Oct. 2 Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners meeting, it was announced treasurer Jeff Waltemyer is retiring. Resolution 2025-41 is for a new treasurer to be appointed – Anne Marie Dobson effective Oct. 15. The resolution was approved.

Dobson will also become a delegate to the Lehigh Tax Collection Committee. Resolution 2025-42 was approved by the commissioners which indicates her appointment to this position.

Resolution 2025-40 is the update to sewer tapping fees and adds a new sewer district. This was approved.

The zoning ordinance text amendment is ready for advertising.

Resolution 2025-43 authorizes conveyance of electric utilities at Quarry Park to PPL. This will allow light poles to be installed. The resolution was approved.

Resolution 2025-44 was approved. This is for escrow release for Woodmont Valley Phase 2.

Resolution 2025-45 was approved. This is for escrow release for construction and acceptance of improvements for maintenance at Millbrook Farms Section 6.

Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners’ meetings are held 6 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of each month, with workshops held 6 p.m. on the fourth Monday of the month, typically at the municipal building, 3400 Brookside Road, Macungie.
