This spring a new Christmas tree was planted to replace the stately tree that died ahead of last year’s Salisbury Township Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Franko Park. Unfortunately, this tree has suffered the same plight. Fear not! Jim Levernier and his crew at the public works department have ordered a new tree and the tree lighting ceremony scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Nov. 29 will go on as planned with lots of fun activities in store for residents of all ages.PRESS PHOTO BY KATHY HASSICK
