James C. Borillo

of Schnecksville

James C. Borillo, 79, of Schnecksville, formerly of Allentown, died Sept. 29, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospice (inpatient), Allentown. He was the significant other of Kathy A. Gross with whom he resided. Born in San Diego, Calif., he was the son of the late Angelo and Frances (O’Donnell) Borillo.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was employed at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 31 years. Since his formal retirement, he worked as a custodian at The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Allentown for 21 years before retiring in 2016.

He was an avid golfer participating in the Bethlehem Municipal League. He loved going to the casino and wagering bets on horse races. He also enjoyed taking cruises, especially trips that included his friends, Linda and Tom Trella. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren.

In addition to his significant other, he is survived by children, Bonnie Epler (Ryan), of Slatington, Brian (Gabriela) and their children, Victor and Anabell all of Virginia; siblings, Edward (Marie), of New Jersey, Margaret Williams (Barry), of Allentown, Mary Ann Turri (Joseph), of Mt. Joy; Kathy’s children, Gregory Gross (Adrienne) and their children, Liam and Korbin, of Schuylkill Haven, Matthew Gross (Megan) and their children, Riley and Grayson, of Schnecksville, Katie Burns (Mark) and their children, Jacob and Aubree, of Fogelsville; several nieces and nephews; extended family.
