Tickets available now for Homecoming, fall play

From new schedules to upcoming events, here are updates of what we can expect for the upcoming weeks. From Homecoming, to the fall play, a lot of the time students and parents might not realize these events might be something they enjoy attending.

This year’s Homecoming theme is “Starry Nights,” and it will be held 6-9 p.m. Oct. 11. Tickets will be sold during lunch through Oct. 7. If you attend Lehigh Career Technical Institute, you can purchase a ticket either in the main office during the school day or in Room 308 after school. Just a reminder no one outside of Emmaus High School is allowed in the dance. There is a cost for tickets.

It’s that time of the year for the EHS fall play. This year, EHS presents “The Diary of Anne Frank.” Tickets are now on sale online on the school website. For students and senior citizens, tickets are discounted. The show will run 7 p.m. Nov. 6-8 in the EHS auditorium. Purchase your tickets fast as they do tend to sell out quickly.

EHS seniors, the senior breakfast will be Oct. 10 during second block. Tickets will be sold during lunch or in the main office. If you’d like to attend, you must fill out the google form by Oct. 1 before you hand your money in. The Google form can be found on the EHS website. There are no late sales. This is a great way to engage with peers and hang out with friends for an hour and a half.

If you find yourself struggling in class and you need a bit of extra help, sign up for a tutor. There is a free tutoring program in which students can help their peers in various subjects during Hornet Homeroom Tuesday through Friday. If you are interested, make sure to check out your “Class of [year you graduate]” folder in Schoology to sign up on the request form. If you have any questions, reach out to your counselor.

Interested in taking the SATs? SAT prep is available every Friday in the multimedia room run by Sarah Kinzel and Kimberly Adams. If you are interested in preparing for SATs or PSATs join the Schoology group code “QPVB-R6P5-VTM9B.”

If any student is interested in taking a school trip to Thailand in June 2026, stop by Room 219 for a packet of information, such as cost, where stops are going to be and more.

As football games get more exciting each year, here is one rule that’s being changed this year: Once you have entered the EHS stadium, there is no reentry. If you leave and want to go back into the stadium you have to pay a second fee to get back in.

More changes are expected throughout the school year but for now, students and parents can stay updated by keeping track of these updates.
