Raymond V. Grube
Raymond V. Grube, 98, of Salisbury Township, died Sept. 27, 2025, at home. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Benjamin A. and Mertie (Strawn) Grube. He was the husband of Lucille (Coleman) Nagy-Grube and the late Geraldine C. (Farber) Grube.
He worked for the Salisbury Township Water and Sewer Department for 22 years until retiring. Before that, he worked as a forklift operator at Faulk, worked for the Trexler Lumber Company and was a plumber’s apprentice.
He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Allentown. He was a faithful member at Grace U.C.C., St. Andrew’s and St. Mark’s U.C.C., serving as an elder, greeter and serving on many committees and activities.
He was a volunteer at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital for many years and was a volunteer for Eastern Salisbury Fire Police.
He was a six-gallon blood donor at the Miller Memorial Blood Bank.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Susan J. Reiss, of Macungie, Rita M. and her husband, Michael Rudiak, of Allentown; grandchildren, Andrea and her husband, Matthew Milliren, Matthew Reiss and his wife, Jennifer, Jonathan Reiss and his wife, Hillary; great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Kristen Milliren, Silas Reiss; stepdaughter, Jennifer and her husband, Dennis Canoy and their children, Mya and Lily; stepson, Michael Nagy and his wife, Elaine and their children, Nicole and Robert.
In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Elwood and Wilmer and an infant baby.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Oct. 4 at Grace U.C.C., 623 Cleveland St., Allentown. A calling hour will be held 9-10 a.m. before the service in the church.
