Edith Altmiller, 81, of Allentown, died peacefully Sept. 23, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William and Julia (Tomasik) Tressler. She was married to the late Harold Altmiller, with whom she shared 44 years of loving marriage until his passing in 2008.

She was a 1961 graduate of Bethlehem High School and went on to earn her degree from Bethlehem Business College in 1963.

She dedicated more than 27 years of service to the Salisbury Township School District.

A faithful member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Allentown, she was actively involved in many parish ministries and activities throughout the years.

She is survived by her sons, Keith and his wife, Stacey, Kevin and his wife, Mary Cay; grandson, Justus and his wife, Katie.

A viewing will be held 8:30-9:30 a.m. Oct. 1 at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 920 S. Second St., Allentown.
