Northampton High School graduate
Beverly R. Bohner, 85, died Sept. 22, 2025, while under the care of St. Luke’s Brian D. Perin Hospice House. She was the wife of Thomas A. Bohner Jr. for 67 years.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late David Rector, Dorothy (Possinger) Rector and Miriam (McCloskey) Rector.
She graduated from Northampton High School in 1958. She obtained her associate degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College, her bachelor of science from Moravian University and her master’s degree from Lehigh University.
She worked for Western Electric. After retiring, she became a professor of computer science at Reading Area Community College before retiring in 2007 with the title professor emerita.
She is survived by a son, Thomas A. Bohner III with Andrea; two grandsons, David with Tara and Michael with Katherine; four great-grandchildren, Aria, Chelsea, David and Aidan; and a brother, Donald Chemello of California.
She was predeceased by a brother, Rick Miller; and a sister, Sandra Miller of California.
There will be a calling time starting 10 a.m., followed by a prayer service 11 a.m., Oct. 3 at the funeral home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall.
