Richard A. Carr, 96, of Salisbury Township, died Aug. 23, 2025, at his home. He was the husband of the late Mary M. (Mihutz) Carr.

Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Lester L. and Sarah M. (Miller) Carr.

He was last employed as a certified journeyman safe cracker with A&B Lock and Safe, Allentown, for the past 34 years working with his son.

He served his country as a SFC in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a longtime member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Allentown, where he enjoyed being a member of the senior choir for years.

He is survived by two daughters, Nina L. and husband Darryl J. Borg of Cibolo, Texas, and Maria and husband Stephen Harrington of Arlington, Mass.; a son, Allen J. and wife Heidi M. of Whitehall; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
