Lawrence “Bucky” D. Berry, 74, of East Stroudsburg, died Aug. 23, 2025, at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth.

Born in Franklin, N.J., he was the son of the late Lester and Sarah (Kane) Berry.

He graduated from Delaware Valley High School, Milford, in 1968.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was employed by various companies, most recently, by Beers Construction of Wind Gap, before retiring after 40 years in 2012.

He served with Delaware Township Volunteer Fire Company, Dingmans Ferry, for a few years.

He was a member of East Stroudsburg Loder Senior Center.

He is survived by a son, Douglas of Souderton; a daughter, Brenda and husband Forrest G. Koch of Northampton; two brothers, Larry and wife Shirley of Milford and Leonard and wife Ingeborg of Chambersburg; a sister, Geraldine Marks of Milford; a grandson, Brandon Koch; and nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
