John A. D’Agostino

of Macungie

John D’Agostino, 83, of Macungie, died Aug. 26, 2025, in Above and Beyond at the Knights. He was the husband of Josephine L. (O’Keefe) D’Agostino. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Michael A. and Philomena Mary (Belletti) D’Agostino.

He honorably served his country in the Army.

He started working in the drafting department for the City of Bethlehem, then at Western Electric and later was a designer for Mack Trucks for many years before retiring.

He was a member of the Macungie Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Michelle “Sheli,” Nicole and her companion, Glenn Gubich, Michel “Micky” and his wife, Monica; stepchildren, Jason Kahle and his wife, Rachel, Jacob Kahle and his wife, Nicoletta, Joel Kahle and his wife, Tanya; sister, Anna Marie and her husband, Richard Culver; grandson, Thomas “TJ” Matthews Jr.; great-grandchildren, Skylar and Luca John; stepgranddaughter, Mercedes; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and beloved sister, Carmella Michael.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Macungie Kingdom Hall, 4571 Indian Creek Road, Macungie, 18062.

Arrangements are entrusted to Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
