Jean M. Shoemaker, 94, of Walnutport, died Sept. 9, 2025, at Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late William W. Shoemaker.
She was the daughter of the late Mahlon and Estella (Merkel) Stofflet.
She was a seamstress all her life, last working for TAMA Manufacturing, Northampton, for five years until retiring in 1994. Earlier, she worked for D-Ville Blouse Co., Danielsville, along with many others throughout the greater Lehigh Valley for more than 30 years.
She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Indianland, in Cherryville, where she was always willing to help the ladies association with baking.
She is survived by a daughter, Alice A. Rehrig and husband Scott of Walnutport; a son, Wesley W. and wife Valerie of Walnutport; and two grandsons, Michael and Christopher.
She was predeceased by six brothers; and six sisters.
