Gerald M. Dech, 101, of Allentown, died Sept. 6, 2025, in his home. He was the husband of the late Daisy M. (Stright) Dech.

He was a son of the late Alice (Keefer) and Wayne S. Dech.

He was a graduate of Whitehall High School.

He was a World War II Army veteran.

He was the owner of Gerald M. Dech Paints and Panels.

He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by two daughters, Dianne Kercher and husband Barry W. of Allentown and Jerrilyn Klimek and husband Michael Anthus of Allentown; three grandchildren, Tammy and husband Dennis, Chad and wife Jasmin and Lynsi; three great-grandsons; one great-great-granddaughter; and a niece, Donna Hoch.

There will be a calling time 4:30 p.m., followed by a funeral service 5 p.m., Sept. 20 at the funeral home, 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown.
