EHS Class of 2009 graduate
Drew Hayden Carraher, 34, of Emmaus, died Sept. 6, 2025. Born in Allentown, he was the beloved son of Gretchen S. (Warmkessel) Carraher Kohler and the late Scott J. Carraher.
He was a 2009 graduate of Emmaus High School, where he was a member of the lacrosse team. He went on to attend Penn State University.
He worked as a welder for Lehigh Heavy Forge, Bethlehem and later as a driver for UPS.
He attended Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus, where he volunteered for Groceries Plus. He was very creative and artistic, loved music and played the guitar, enjoyed sports, was an avid reader and loved aviation.
His love and caring influence blessed his family with dedication, service and his unfailing sense of humor. His love of adventure and ability to enrich each and every experience transcends his short time with us.
In addition to his mother and her husband, Ben, he is survived by sisters, Erin and her husband, Mike Piazza, Molly; brothers, Brian and his wife, Charity, Kyle; grandparents, James and Leann Warmkessel; aunts, Beth Witte and her husband, Ron, Susan; uncles, Bob and Jim Warmkessel and his wife, Bonnie; cousins, Ross and his wife, Jamie, Matt Witte, Jimmy and Jack Warmkessel; nieces, Summer and Aria Piazza, Diana; his nephews, Warren and Scott.
Arrangements are entrusted to Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
