The Bethlehem Area School District has announced the appointment of Dr. Jodi Frankelli as the district’s new Chief Pupil Services Officer.
Frankelli brings extensive classroom, educational and administrative experience to the role. Most recently, she served as the executive director of Early Learning for the Allentown School District.
Her previous leadership roles include serving as superintendent of the Palmerton Area School District, as well as several positions within BASD, including supervisor of Early Learning, Grants and Development, and previously as Governor Wolf ES principal.
In her new role, Frankelli will oversee the district’s comprehensive student support services, which include special education, counseling, psychology, health, social work and student discipline. Her work will focus on ensuring these services are aligned with district goals and state regulations, all while supporting the academic and emotional wellbeing of BASD students.
Frankelli holds a doctorate in education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in education from East Stroudsburg University, and a bachelor’s degree in English and teacher certification from Shippensburg University.
“We are thrilled to have Dr. Frankelli rejoin the BASD team. Her deep understanding of student needs and her leadership experience will be a tremendous asset to our school district,” said Superintendent Dr. Jack P. Silva.
