Traffic enforcement results announced

The Pennsylvania State Police Troop M – Bethlehem recently announced the results of a Troop wide traffic enforcement detail conducted July 23 throughout the Troop M coverage area, which includes Lehigh, Northampton and Bucks counties.

Results of the traffic enforcement detail include:

• 297 traffic citations issued

• 106 warnings issued

• Two arrests for driving under the influence

• One arrest for drug possession

• One arrest on an outstanding warrant

PSP Troopers and officers from the Allentown Police Department conducted an enforcement detail in the area of American Parkway and North Bradford Street, Allentown, the same day, according to a news release dated July 24.

Results included:

• 17 citations

• Six warnings
