Upper Macungie Township, in partnership with Wildlands Conservancy, will host its “Slither and S’mores” program for kids, families and nature lovers of all ages 5-6 p.m. Aug. 29 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane.

Get ready for a wild night of creatures and campfire treats at Slither n’ S’mores!

Join Wildlands Conservancy for an up-close encounter with some of nature’s coolest critters – snakes, lizards and other slithery stars of the animal world.

After the show, gather ‘round the fire pit to toast marshmallows and stack up your s’mores.

The township will be hosting its free Concert in the Park series with its Bourbon and Blues concert 6 p.m. Aug. 30 at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road.

Enjoy a perfect blend of soulful, bluesy music and smooth whiskey cocktails.

Concerts will be held monthly through October and will showcase outdoor live music.

The township will also be holding its Grub and Groove at Grange series 5-8 p.m. Thursday’s until Sept. 25 in the parking lot Pavilion No. 1 at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road.

Come out and enjoy various food trucks and music.

The township will be showing the movie “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” (PG) Sept. 12 at Lone Lane Park.

All local fire departments will be on-site to interact with the community and kids.

Come on out and enjoy yard games, inflatables and more.

The pre-movie activities will start 5:30 p.m. and the movie will start as soon as the sun goes down.
