It was a fun day at the Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center, 1925 Turner St., Allentown, Aug. 8.
Area youth attended the camp to connect with residents in what was called an intergenerational week of connection and learning.
It culminated with a fun event modeled after the TV program “Minute to Win It.”
During the event, both residents and campers performed a variety of activities, including a Cheetos toss, stacking Oreos, basketball and “axe” throwing using a soft Nerf axe.
All in all it was a delightful time for both the campers and residents as they strengthened their understanding of each other.
