Northampton: Museum open to public Aug. 17

The Seigfried Railroad Station Museum, on West 21st Street, will be open 1-4 p.m. Aug. 17.

The annual mum fundraiser held by the Northampton Area Historical Society is taking place at this time. The deadline for orders is Aug. 28. Orders can be placed by calling 610-570-5083. Pickup is 8-11 a.m. Sept. 13.

Pink Pumpkins Coins 4 Chemo is having a summer farm fest 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 23 at Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, 2110 Canal St.

The event features a cow plop, activities for the children, local vendors, crafters, basket raffle, food, music, door prizes and more to benefit cancer warriors in the community. The event is rain or shine.

Cow plop tickets can be purchased at Tri-Boro or by calling 610-440-2119. Only 300 will be sold.

The borough has launched its first movies in the park series. From now until Oct. 31, enjoy movies every Friday night under the stars.

This includes pre-movie activities that start 7:30 p.m. and continue until it is dark enough to see the movie. There will be concessions available, featuring a unique themed food item each week.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is currently registering for the 2025-26 academic year. Spaces are limited in all three classes.

The 2-year-old playgroup class will meet 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Class size is limited to 12. Children do not need to be toilet trained.

The 3-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16. Children need to be toilet trained.

The 4-year-old class meets 12:15-2:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16. Children need to be toilet trained.

Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.
