Karen C. Seiple, 74, of New Holland, died Aug. 5, 2025, at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center in Lebanon. She was the wife of the late David J. Seiple.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Kenneth and Corinne (Thumma) Herr.

She was last employed as a teacher for Northampton Area School District’s George Wolf Elementary School, both full time and as a substitute teacher for years until retiring.

She is survived by a son, Adam D. and wife Sabrina of Bel Air, Md.; a daughter, Amanda and husband Sean Gassert of Leola; a brother, Jeffrey Herr of Lancaster; a sister, Claudia and husband Thomas Beebe of Landenberg; and four grandchildren, Jacob, Ethan, Katelyn and Alexander.
