Joseph J. Fernandes Jr., 63, of Allentown, died Aug. 4, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of Debra L. (Rehrig) Fernandes to whom he was married 39 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph J. Fernandes Sr. and Barbara (Hessinger) Fernandes.

Along with his family members, he was the former co-owner and vice president of EAMCO Corp. in Coplay before retiring from the family business.

He loved working on cars, listening to music, fishing and camping. His life revolved around his family and friends. He will forever be remembered as a “jack of all trades.” He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joseph J. III at home; siblings, Christian (Stephanie), of Allentown, Maria Myers (John), of Whitehall; cousin, Lisa Jon Lepeta, of Allentown; grandson, Jameson Hubich, of Ohio.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Jaimie Joe.
