Hokendauqua: Flirtin’ with the Mob to close out summer music series

Whitehall Township’s concert series will end Aug. 16, with Flirtin’ with the Mob performing 6-9 p.m. at Whitehall Parkway, 4689 S. Church St. There will also be food trucks and refreshments from Soaked Winery and Hawk Mountain Brewery.

Parkview Pool, 3051 S. Fifth St., closes for the season Aug. 16. Hours are noon-5 p.m., with 11 a.m.-noon available for pool pass holders only.

Whitehall Bible Fellowship Church, 3300 Seventh St., will host a Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative free community meal, for low-income Whitehall-Coplay School District residents, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 19. Meals are available while supplies last.

Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, will be continue its Hot Dogs and Hymns program 6-7:15 p.m. Aug. 20 and 27. Come for hot dogs, chips, beverages, desserts, fellowship, fun and sing-alongs.

Congratulations to the Rev. Christian Creyer, new full-time pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Hokendauqua, 3005 S. Front St. Creyer was voted in by the congregation June 15 and will be formally installed Aug. 24.
