Vietnam War veteran
David L. Mulcahy Sr., 85, of Coplay, died July 31, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Dorothy M. (Koch) Mulcahy to whom he was married 64 years. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Thomas Eugene and Mary Rebecca (Clooney) Mulcahy.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era. He was employed as an electronic technician for Lockheed Martin for many years before retiring.
He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs and the Allen O. Delke American Legion Post 16, Slatington.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, James H. (James), of Allentown, David L. Jr. (Shelly), of Slatington, Kevin S. (Tanya), of Bethlehem; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 20 at Union U.C.C., 5550 Route 873, Neffs, with the Rev. Kris P. Snyder officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects 10-11 a.m. in the church narthex before the service.
