The last day of the 2025 summer reading program — Color Our World — is Aug. 16. Log your reading to earn prizes and raffle tickets toward gift baskets. The drawing for the gift baskets will occur noon Aug. 18.

Adults who register for the summer reading program may participate in a special color wheel activity. Visit Lehigh Carbon Cooperative libraries and receive raffle tickets until Aug. 29 to win prizes and an iPad.

To close out the summer reading program, a balloon artist will do a presentation 11 a.m. Aug. 16. Register in person at the library or by calling 610-262-7351.

Reminder: Preschool storytime and craft is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Aug. 15 and 22. Registration is not required.

The library board will be at Coplay Community Days Aug. 22-24 at Coplay Parkway, North Second Street. They will be selling pull-tab tickets, and all proceeds benefit the library.

Come to the library to watch free movies 11 a.m. Saturdays. The movie schedule includes “Aliens Ate My Homework” Aug. 23 and “Home” Aug. 30.

Our Fiber Arts and Friends Circle group meets 1-2 p.m. Wednesdays. Whether you want to learn to crochet or knit, work on a current project or get advice from our experts, join us for a relaxing and instructive hour. We have extra yarn and knitting/crochet needles. Adults and teens are welcome.

The coloring group for teens and adults meets 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays. No registration is required.

The library’s summer hours are set for 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays.

School-year hours start Aug. 25, which will be 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
