Juan F. Cruz, 74, “The OG” of Bethlehem, died July 30, 2025, at his home. Born in Florida, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Francisco and Dominga Guzman (Cruz).

Also known as Junior, he loved fixing cars and playing pool. He had an infectious humor and a big heart.

He is survived by his children, Johnny Cruz, Mitzi Cruz, Alicia Cruz and April Pagan and her husband Michael; 12 grandchildren, Johnny Jr., Davilee, Jarid, Dynasty, Nori, Michael, Julian, Jaylin, Jamia, Julianna, Julyus and Jasiah; two great-grandchildren, Myles and Kadalyse; the mother of his children, Nitza Davila; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predecesed by a daughter, Lizenda E. Cruz; and two brothers.

Contributions may be made to Juan’s family to help with funeral expenses. Checks may be made payable to “Mitzi Cruz”. Any donations may be mailed to the funeral home or dropped off at Connell Funeral Home Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.
