Coplay: Union Jack to perform Aug. 8
Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St., continues its summer concert series. The lineup for Friday night concerts will include Union Jack Aug. 8, American Street Band Aug. 15, Sons of Izzy Aug. 22 and Social Call Aug. 29.
The gates open 5 p.m., and the kitchen opens 5:30 p.m. Bands will play until 10 p.m.
The Wednesday acoustic concerts are 6-9 p.m. The schedule includes Irv Ball and Video Daze Aug. 13 and Tim Harakal Aug. 27. The kitchen will be open.

The 24th annual Ironton Rail Trail 10-K run/walk is set for Aug. 17 at Saylor Park, 245 N. Second St. The event begins 8 a.m. Walkers step off 9:30 a.m., and runners begin 10 a.m.

Coplay Food Bank, located in the lower level of the municipal building, is open 8:30-10 a.m. the second Tuesday of every month.

The food bank needs coffee, spaghetti sauce and noodles, canned pasta, rice pouches and non-sweetened dry cereals. Monetary donations are always accepted.
