The borough summer concert series continues Aug. 8, with Triple Dog Dare playing 7-10 p.m. at the Catasauqua Park and Playground amphitheater, 501 American St.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and settle in for a fun, musical night in the park.

The Catasauqua Public Library’s annual yard sale will be held 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 9 at Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St.

Shop from a big selection of household goods, home decor, clothing and accessories, jewelry, toys, collectibles, tools, sporting goods and more.

Those making a purchase will receive a ticket to return 1-1:30 p.m. to shop for bargain prices.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Should you wish to donate any items to the sale, Holy Trinity will be accepting donations Aug. 3-7.

All proceeds benefit the library.

St. Mary’s Church, 122 Union St., will hold its Sizzlin’ Summer bingo Aug. 17 in the parish center.

Doors and the kitchen open 11 a.m., with bingo beginning 1 p.m.

The cost includes 15 games, six specials and one jackpot round. Bring your daubers but no hard boards.

No outside food or drinks are permitted.

The Catasauqua Club, 226 Pine St., is having a basket social 5-8 p.m. Sept. 12 and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 13.

There will be food available for purchase, a bake sale and an additional 50/50 raffle. Tickets are available at the door.
